What a loaded week in the Edmonton Sports scene! It's understood the NHL will dominate headlines but here's a peak at a few other fantastic sports options happening in Edmonton and area.
BCHL FINALS GAME 1 & 2
What has been a wacky year for the Sherwood Park Crusaders and the Brooks Bandits has extended to the BCHL Alberta Final. Number 1 Brooks will start on the road as their arena is bring used this weekend. The series will shift to Brooks for games 3,4,5 then fall into a "regular" playoff cadence if games 6 & 7 are necessary.

Edmonton's Top Talent Wrestling Event
Former WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali...if that isn't enough to sell you a ticket to an indy wrestling show, you are missing out. Top Talent features a load of local talents such as Halon Abbott (formerly known as Heavy Metal), Ava Lawless and the returning Mitch Clarke.
AEW Edmonton
Tonight wrestling fans in Edmonton have the option to see mainstream wrestling as AEW comes to Rogers Place. Keep your eyes peeled for wrestlers from our indy circle making appearances in various roles throughout the show.
League1 Alberta Commences
Year two of League1 Alberta begins this weekend. The only local match features Edmonton BTB Soccer. The full weekend schedule is posted below.
Edmonton Miners Jr A season begins
Edmonton's lone Jr A lacrosse representative begins their season with a swing through Calgary. The Edmonton Jr Miners home schedule begins with back-to-back-to-back games hosting the Saskatchewan Swat on Friday May 24th at 8pm, Saturday May 25th at 5:30pm and Sunday May 26th at 1pm.

Edmonton Prospects Roster To Date
After a year hiatus, the Edmonton Prospects are well into rebuilding their roster for the upcoming 2024 season. The Prospects regular season begins in Fort McMurray on Friday May 24th. Their first home at Centennial Park #9 in Sherwood is Thursday June 6th.
