SCOUT HNATUIK
In 2018, some defectors of another sports page network decided to make their own page. That page was Shotgun Sports!
Since then, Co-Founder Scout has been making content from memes to highlight videos of live events. With most of his knowledge coming in media and marketing, he has recently taken his experience and has brought it to the articles section of Shotgun Sports. In his spare time, he enjoys fixing things, playing vintage video games, dirt biking and spending time with his family.
KATHERINE SCHRAEDER
Kathy's interest in sports is new, yet enthusiastic. Even though she didn't grow up around sports, she recently discovered that the thrill of watching and following her favorite teams was something she had been missing in her life. She's all about cheering for the Edmonton Elks and Edmonton Oilers, bringing a fresh perspective as a committed new fan.
When Katherine isn't diving into Elks Herd and Shotgun Sports Network projects, she's likely curled up with a good book or tending to her growing plant collection. Her journey into the sports world is all about discovering new passions and having fun with them.
RYAN MESSER
Ryan was born and raised in Birmingham, AL, surrounded by the sights and sounds of college football, basketball, hockey, and baseball. Since then, sports have been a critical influence in his life. He grew up going to annual Alabama Crimson Tide football games at Legion Field in Birmingham and Bryant-Denny Tuscaloosa. Ryan fell in love with hockey and baseball going to Birmingham Bulls and Birmingham Barons games.
Today, Ryan still lives in Birmingham and actively attends and promotes all of the teams in the Magic City including the Barons, Legion FC, Stallions, Bulls, and the Squadron. Sports!
JOE PRITCHARD
Joe talks way too much about Winnipeg sports for a guy born, raised, and living in Wisconsin.
Contributor to the Winnipeg Hangar at Shotgun Sports, Host of the Winnipeg Terminal Podcast, and Host of the Rouge White and Blue Podcast.
MIKE DANDREA
As an avid hockey fan that was on skates at three years old, Mike is a fan of all things Winnipeg, from the city, to the diversity, and...not to mention the Jets, Bombers, and Goldeyes! His time at Shotgun Sports began in the fall of 2019 as the Jets admin for Penalty Box, and he is excited to create more sports content as the creator of the Winnipeg Hangar.
When not glued to scores/news/rumors, Mike can be found outdoors doing pretty much anything the great outdoors has to offer.
LEN NUNES
Len's sport journey started as the worst marketing director ever for the Jr B Lacrosse Sherwood Park Titans in 2007. Somehow that help opened the door to a full time job with the Edmonton Rush of the National Lacrosse League in 2008. In 2012, volunteerism became a priority and the rest of the decade was spent pitching in with the Sherwood Park Crusaders Jr A Hockey Club and Edmonton Prospects Baseball Club.
Writing experience includes Win Column Sports, which under different ownership became Love Wrestling, and Edmonton Sports Fans. The focus always being the sports and teams that make up the Edmonton Sports scene outside the Oilers.
MATT MORRISEY
Matthew Morrisey grew up in the Maritimes but now lives in rural Alberta. He has a huge passion for sports particularly football and baseball. Go Elks Go! He has been writing for a few other sports websites the last few years and is excited about the opportunity to write for Shotgun Sports Network!
When Matthew is not watching sports or working you can find him spending time with his family, reading, traveling and expanding his ever growing record collection.
DEVON ELLIS
Devon was born and raised six feet from the moose's a** in Saskatchewan. He grew up on the outdoor rinks, sometimes skating the block and a half from home to the rink. He is a big Calgary Flames, Roughriders and Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL) fan, with honorable mention to the Avalanche and the Baltimore Ravens.
He is passionate about sports, motorcycles, snowmobiling, and pretty much anything outdoors! He is excited to write for Shotgun Sports Network!
STEVEN GUZZO
Steven is a passionate sports media writer with a deep-rooted love for college wrestling.
His journey in sports media began as a freelance writer for the popular YouTube channel Fanco Wrestling. His expertise extended beyond the mat as he also delved into the exciting realm of MMA, bringing fans closer to the intersection of wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts.
He also currently work as an admin for Shotgun Sports "The Mat" Facebook page, where he channels his creativity into creating wrestling memes that hit home with fans and athletes alike. These memes not only entertain but also become a source of unity within the wrestling community, sparking laughter and camaraderie.
KOLETON HARDY
Koleton has been immersed in sports his whole life, especially in wrestling. He wrestled all growing up which eventually took him to wrestle D-1 for Utah Valley University. He took a break from sports for 5 years while he obtained a PhD in biochemistry. He is currently avidly following wrestling again as he follows his little brother who wrestles at the University of Nebraska. Koleton applies his lifelong experiences with wrestling as an athlete, coach, referee, and parent to objectively look at sports as whole and provide the best content he can.
He also enjoys the outdoors including as an avid mountain biker as well as rock crawling and hiking.
