It's Day 2 of the CFL Free Agency Communications window, and already we're seeing drama, excitement and frustration across all 9 fan bases in the CFL. For the Edmonton Elks and their fans, some players have moved on while others have joined the team in an effort to reclaim Green and Gold prominence in the league.

Last night we asked Double E fans for their opinion on the pending agreements made on Day 1.

Needless to say, fans of the Double E are excited about the moves made by Vice President of Football and General Manager Ed Hervey, who has secured many great players for a team that is hungry to return to glory. Grey Cups are not won in February, a sentiment on repeat over the last 48 hours, yet the hype remains strong amongst Double E fans:

It's extremely easy to be excited about the Green and Gold team being built for 2025, as we're seeing a healthy mix of players returning to the Elks, along with new competitors with Grey Cup pedigree. Cautiously optimistic is a great mindset to have if you're a fan of the Double E.

With LB Nyles Morgan offically re-signing today, along with Jacob Plamondon and Brett Boyko returning to the team for 2025, the Edmonton Elks have fans excited to return to Commonwealth Stadium, Home of the Double E.

Ed Hervey also agreed to terms with another Toronto Argonaut in OL Gregor MacKellar, a BC Lion in DB Manny Rugamba and a Calgary Stampeder in DB Kobe Williams on Monday, making for a somewhat slower Day 2 in comparison to Day 1. We're just over 7 days away from the official Free Agency start time, meaning we may see even more action between now and then.

Buckle Up!
