Hosting the Kamloops Blazers, the Oil Kings were outshot 11-3 in the first period but Dalyn Flette made 10 saves. The Blazers only managed 7 more shots the rest of the game but Flette only made 3 more saves. Despite 18 shots in the 3rd period, Edmonton could not overcome their own shaky goaltending performance.
2010-11

Moose Jaw visited Rexall Place for a Sunday matinee and scored the first and last goal. The three goals in the middle belonged to Edmonton giving the home team the win. Goalie Cam Lanigan made 23 saves and notched an assist in the win. Jordan Hickmott led the offense with a goal and an assist.
2014-15
A powerplay goal by Aaron Irving opened the scoring for the Oil Kings who were hosting the accursed Hitmen. Of 35 shots on net, that was the only one that found the twine. Tristan Jarry stopped 22 of 24 shots in the losing effort.
2018-19
The Saskatoon Blades visited Rogers Place and built up a 4-1. A lead they almost blew. Trey Fix-Wolansky scored his second goal of the game at the 11:20 mark of the third period. With just under three mintues remaining Wyatt McLeod made it a one goal game. Dylan Myskiw, who made 30 saves for the Oil Kings, sat helplessly on the bench as the Blades iced the game with an empty net goal.
2023-24 SHUTOUT BABY!

A Tuesday night in Prince Albert was Kolby Hay's one shutout of the '23-24 regular season. 13 of his 33 saves came in the final frame trying to preserve the goose egg. Adam Jecho, John Szabo, and Vojtech Port scored for the Oil Kings.
