Patrick Dea lost his shutout bid midway through the final frame and finished with 32 saves. The Oil Kings scored the first three goals of the contest with Lane Bauer leading the way with a goal and an assist. The Oil Kings penalty killing unit went a perfect 7-for-7.
2016-17
Colton Kehler, Tyler Robertson and Lane Bauer scored 1:32 apart to give the home team Oil Kings a 3-1 lead after the first period. This was despite the Medicine Hat Tigers outshooting Edmonton 22-8. The shots finished 55(!)-27 in favour of the Tigers as they scored the final six goals of the contest. Liam Hughes with 48 saves in the loss.
2017-18
Powerplay goals by Nick Bowman and Tomas Soustal (with two seconds remaining in the period) had the Oil Kings and Regina Pats tied at two after one period. Three Pats powerplay goals in the second period determined the outcome of the game.
2021-22

Three third period goals by Oil Kings made this a comeback win versus the Winnipeg Ice. Dylan Guenther with a goal and an assist to lead the offence. Sebastian Cossa with 26 saves in the win.
