Alexas Kubicki eyes WBC International Title in Friday Fight Night

Another match, another opportunity for Alexas Kubicki to secure a belt, this time a coveted WBC International title.

Alliance Boxing is bringing another Fight Night to River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Alberta, and with bigger stakes comes bigger notice. After defending her Women's International Boxing Association Title against Farah El Bousairi months previous, Kubicki now faces another title challenge in facing Alondra Yamile Hernandez Mendoza, this time for the World Boxing Council. While this International title is a stepping stone to the big championship, the Iron Lady is ready for the task.

When asked about what lessons and strengths she's bringing forward from her last bout against El Bousairi, Kubicki claimed "My stamina, my hard-work, my power, my aggression and my team putting all that work in and being behind me, getting the work done, pushing me day through day. I wouldn't be anywhere without them."

When asked about concerns going up against Hernandez Mendoza, Kubicki explained, "I let my Dad do all that business. He does all the searching, looking for weaknesses, what they're good at and what they're strong at. I just go up there, do my plan, what my Dad tells me to do and we do it, we get it done, we get that W."

There's no doubt that Team Iron Lady is on fire right now, with momentum and wins on their side. Afterall, Alexas Kubicki and her team have been nearly unstoppable for some time, and with all Championship organizations you'll find great support, a unit moving together with one common goal: Winning.

With mere hours between now and the big event, Kubicki and company are ready to complete another chapter in the story of the Iron Lady. The next sports franchise in Edmonton is ready for battle and, hopefully, another championship belt.
