The last recollection of a number in Oil Kings history means the last day waiting for Oil Kings hockey! The first two to wear the number were both team MVP winners. There were many who wore the number but never got into game action, they will not be listed. You have to go back to 2020 for the the last time this number was worn in a game for the Club. Let's recollect!

The Oil Kings Greg Tomalty Memorial Award winner as the team MVP was your first number 1 in modern day history goaltender Alex Archibald. Acquired via trade from the Chilliwack Bruins in exchange for not making an expansion draft selection, Archibald put up the best numbers of his career despite playing for an expansion team. His 1,594 saves still stands as the single season most saves for the Club.
